Wilderswil, Switzerland
Wilderswil is a village in Switzerland located about 30 minutes away from Interlaken which of course, by foot! Well, Wilderswil will give you a sense of peace and tranquil that you can lay on its gardens for hours and hours looking at its clear skies and snowy mountains which popularly known as Jungfraujoch (Top of Europe) within the Bernese Alps.
Even at a distance, you will be able to witness the awesome view of its mountains from your hotel rooms. At night, I found that the Swiss are particularly emphasizing on the importance of preserving the electricity. Therefore, no lids are lighten within the village area and the streets are dark too. However, I was told that it is still safe to walk along the dark streets.
TAKING A STROLL IN WILDERSWIL
If you ever plan of visiting Jungfraujoch which was well recommended, you may visit Jungfraujoch – Website for more information on train/tram prices as well as the available activities. The train/tram tracks leading to Jungfraujoch and vice versa, involving several stations and stops.
Overall, I would suggest a trip of 2 – 3 days being sufficient to explore places like Interlaken and Wilderswil, as well as Jungfraujoch. Do remember to take a stroll along the quiet streets leading to the bottom mountains.
